An original wearable artwork by Ann Latinovich, from her ongoing Becoming Eros series.

The word SOURCE emerged from Latinovich’s exploration of the tornado as a recurring image in her drawings. For nearly a year, she had been working with the tornado as a visual expression of energy, movement, and the forces that shape our lives.

In August 2026, a tornado struck her home, transforming an image she had been investigating through her artwork into a lived experience.

In the aftermath, the word SOURCE took on a deeper significance, bringing into focus her relationship to creativity and the generative force at the center of her artistic practice.

Embroidered onto a classic retro trucker hat, SOURCE becomes a declaration of that creative force.

Latinovich selected bold, playful color combinations for each hat, bringing a sense of exuberance and unexpected contrast to the design. The vibrant palettes reflect the same spirit of experimentation, curiosity, and creative freedom that informs her larger artistic practice.
