An original wearable artwork by Ann Latinovich, adapted from one of the earliest paintings in her Becoming Eros series.

Created during a period of silent retreat, the original painting draws upon the exuberant floral ornamentation of the Rococo, reimagined through Latinovich’s developing use of the hare as an archetypal figure.

The composition brings together lush botanical imagery and the movement of the hare, exploring the relationship between beauty, instinct, vulnerability, and vitality.

Translating the painting onto a football jersey introduces another layer of meaning. The traditionally masculine language of athletic clothing meets an extravagant floral composition, creating a playful tension between conventional expressions of femininity and masculinity.

Designed with an oversized, boxy silhouette, the jersey can be worn as a statement piece or styled as a cropped top.
