A Creative Sanctuary Where Growing Beauty Has Become A Movement
Located along the Chicago River in the historic former Spiegel Catalog Warehouse, Ann Latinovich’s studio is based at the Bridgeport Art Center, one of Chicago’s leading creative campuses. The building houses multiple galleries, the Fashion Design Center, the Chicago Ceramic Center, and large-scale event and exhibition spaces, creating a professional environment shaped by serious creative production.
The studio itself is designed for the development of large-scale and site-responsive work. High ceilings, expansive walls, and abundant natural light allow for work to be developed with attention to scale, material presence, and spatial integration. The space supports both focused studio production and in-person review of work with designers, collectors, and collaborators.
Botanical source material cultivated by Latinovich is developed onsite and translated through a disciplined studio process into finished artworks. This ground-up approach informs the pacing, composition, and material integrity of the work without requiring narrative explanation.
The studio functions as a working environment for commissions, placement-ready collections, and long-term projects.
