Let it be known, Ann is not the kind of person you ever forget. She is a force of energy, passion, connoisseurship, an aficionado for beauty, and above all, a bearer of humility marked by an unyielding work ethic and desire for excellence.

-Cynthia Crosby

Internationally recognized, Latinovich’s work has lived in numerous institutions, including The Art Institute of Chicago, London House Hotel, The Blackstone Hotel, Chicago’s historic Water Tower, Oak Street Design, Michigan Avenue, and Rome’s Temple Gallery. Recent works include fresco paintings in Tuscany, Italy, live window painting sessions in the heart of Chicago’s world-famous Michigan Avenue, both corporate and private portrait commissions as well as custom works for the Art Institute of Chicago’s Project Windows annually since 2016.

As a renowned portrait artist, Latinovich is honored to have been commissioned to create portraits of two United States Presidents.

EDUCATION

Having received her BFA from Tyler School of Art, her formative training included living and studying in Rome, Italy. She received her Masters of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago.

VISITING ARTIST AND LECTURER

Latinovich lectures as a Visiting Artist at Collegiate Fine Art Programs across the country including the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She recently served as a Visiting Artist in Italy, instructing Stonehill College students on the art of Fresco painting and working with them to create their own fresco installation at Tenuta di Spannocchia, set in the beautiful Tuscan hillside of Siena.

She has been a guest on numerous podcasts including recent interviews with author Diane Gimard Wilson of Genius: Sciencing Our Human Potential and discussing all things art with Emmy award winning Teresa L. Thome and Patrick W. Ziegler of Fubble Entertainment.

BIRTHING MASTERFUL WORKS OF ART FROM THE GROUND UP

Latinovich's flower garden functions as a metaphor for birthing light from darkness and heavily informs her artistic practice.

The essence of her creations is poetic, as she explores fleeting and intangible elements, frequently symbolized by the natural world in her artwork.
