Outside of my passion for celebrating family through fine art portraiture, I've often stolen time here and there to create work that speaks to whatever my heart desires. Over the last few years, I've amassed a solid collection of feel good fine art inspired by love, joy, meditation and mindfulness. Butterflies, birds, botanicals and all things beautiful compel me to create as a means to offer a shared experience.
In recent years, my husband and I began planting different varieties of flowers and cultivating this shared passion has brought immense joy to us both. I've found the vibrant, diverse colors to well represent the richness of life. Like us, each flower is unique, and I hope to celebrate that with you.
The following series of 10 images were created during Covid19 stay-at-home orders. Harvesting tulips from our garden and pulling some of the butterfly and bird images I'd created at the Peggy Notebart Museum months ago, these images were created with a complex lighting system that overtook our kitchen for a few days. A lot of thought went into these images and ultimately, a resolve to focus on hope, love and all things good in this world.
